Oat Crumble - Apples & Figs

YAY It's my Bday [RIP quart de siècle]


8 apples – 8 figs - 4 oz (100g) porridge oats - 4 1/2 oz (110g) flour - 3 oz (70g) brown sugar - 6 oz (150g) melted butter - 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon - 1 pinch of salt.
Preheat oven to 180° (350 F). Peel and core the apples. Cut the apples and figs into pieces. Place into a ovenproof dish. 
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, the oats, the sugar, the cinnamon and the salt. Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the mixture.  Miw with your fingertips until crumbly. 
Cover the fruits with the crumble mixture. Bake for 35 minutes until fruits are bubbly and top is browned.
Serve warm.
